SpaceX uses a variety of programming languages for different projects and teams. C is used for developing the Falcon 9 and Dragon spacecraft, while Python is used for data analysis, machine learning, and robotics. Java is also used for some projects. The flight software of SpaceX is written in both C and C++. C is strongly associated with UNIX as it was developed to write the UNIX operating system. Dual-core x86 processors have been used in SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket and the flight software package that operates on each of these processors is written in C. Additionally, SpaceX uses an Actor-Judge system to provide triple redundancy to its rockets and spacecraft, which runs on Linux operating system. LabView, a graphical programming tool that runs on Windows, is also used by SpaceX.
